One of the most important parts of being a photographer is making something out of lousy situations. I mostly think of meetings and general pressers that tend to be pretty boring to capture. It’s necessary to find creative images in a boring situation. I’ve included some of the better photos I’ve made out of a very “nothing” situation.
As you can tell these situations are not the best. I try to focus on light, layering and details to create better photos from these one-layered assignments. I think these are good examples, but I’d like to find more creative ways to portray these events and stories.
When you’re working on photo stories, there is bound to be something that isn’t interesting about the subject. You still need to capture those moments and make them beautiful.
